iron, and where fluorine partially replaces the hydroxyl and dominates it. Fluro-magnesio-arfvedsonite is
recognized by the IMA as a distinct mineral
species with the following chemical
formula: NaNa2(Mg,Fe2+)4Fe3+Si8O22(F,OH)2
