Chalcocite Crystal Coating
Chalcocite Crystal Coating from Chimney Rock Quarry, Bound Brook, New Jersey
Collection Robert Lavinsky
Description Rare Chalcocite from the traprock quarries of New Jersey. This is a significant large specimen from a small find of the mid-1990s, which was quickly dispersed among New Jersey enthusiasts. It is the rich with crystallization over nearly all the surface. The crystals are flat, but sharp, and mostly complete. This is a very important and fine New Jersey specimen, and a rarely crystallized copper species for the state. Ex. Charlie Key.
