Hydrozincite Balls with Limonite
Collection |
Robert Lavinsky |
Description |
Hydrozincite forms in the oxidation zones of zinc deposits as masses or crusts. This is a large and very rich specimen from Mapimi that is actually quite attractive, where little snowy balls of the mineral have formed in shallow recesses in a contrasting matrix of Limonite. Ex. Stoudt Collection. |
