Description |
Scattered crystals of glassy and gemmy, intense green Dioptase, to 1.3 cm across, are emplaced on rhombs of colorless Calcite over a matrix of brownish-pink Dolomite. The color and texture contrast are remarkable. This is a fine miniature of one of the most classic minerals in the mineral world, probably from the 1970's finds. |
