Description |
This is certainly the largest, and also one of the best specimens of Ferrocolumbite from any locale! It was part of Bancroft's competition worldwide case, 30 years or more ago. It is a huge and well formed crystal with good luster, a rich chocolate-brown color, and with interesting vertical striations. The termination is pristine and only the back side is contacted - otherwise it is complete all around! This specimen has to be considered one of the finest of its species. Absolutely mind boggling!
