Royal Blue Carletonite Cluster
Royal Blue Carletonite Cluster from Poudrette Qquarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada
Collection Robert Lavinsky
Description A very colorful, rich, 3-dimensional specimen of Carletonite from the world's best (and only) locality for the material. This piece has very rich royal blue color, and a crystal of 1.8 cm on top. While not the largest, these are still very respectable bordering on huge, and the quality is high in that the two major crystals are freestanding rather than embedded in a jumbly matrix of others. These were from Gilles Haineult, who collected them back in the late 1990s.
Locality Poudrette Qquarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Rouville RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada
Dimensions 4.1 x 3.7 x 3.1 cm.
Specimen Grade C
