Description A textbook, translucent, cherry red 5/8-inch Cuprite crystal perched on snow-white Dolomite. This is a very rare combo. From the Sussman collection, obtained from the Zweibels in 1987, then passed on to Rob Lavinsky around 2001 when the Sussmans stopped collecting thumbnails. Sold to Roland Sherman for $2500 in 2002. Roland and Kathy Sherman are competitive thumbnail exhibitors from Southern California, specializing in copper species.
