Pyramidal Malachite Ps. Azurite
Pyramidal Malachite Ps. Azurite from Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico
Collection Robert Lavinsky
Description A lovely cluster of parallel growth, velvety green, pseudomorphs of Malachite after Azurite, to 3.9 cm in length, sits atop a matrix of limestone and massive Malachite. Contact to the back side of the specimen cannot be seen from the front and does not affect the display aesthetics of the piece, which is very 3-dimensional and radial. A superb display piece of a style from the finds here circa 2010-2012, and not really all that common on the market anymore.
Locality Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico
Dimensions 5.5 x 4.5 x 3.0 cm.
Specimen Grade C
