Complex Silver Wires
Complex Silver Wires from Freiburg, Saxony, Germany
Collection John Betts - Fine Minerals
Description This is an old piece, very aesthetic, and once owned by Phil Scalisi (a prominent New England collector), who got it out of one of the old collections he got into over the years. It was then in the Sal Avella silver collection. The piece has a subtlety and style to it, which sets it apart from others. It is also very robust and solid, not as fragile or "bendy" as it might seem from the photos. It is, in fact, thicker than most such Saxon silvers in this size range.
Locality Freiburg, Saxony, Germany
Dimensions 6.1 x 3.9 x 2.0 cm.
