Multicolored Euclase Crystal
Multicolored Euclase Crystal from Lost Hope Mine, Mwami, Karoi District, Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe
Collection Robert Lavinsky
Description This rich Euclase specimen is composed of crystals and crystal sections and is highlighted by a sharp, 1.6 cm crystal. This striking specimen is divided exactly in half. Half of the crystal is vibrant blues and half is totally colorless. These are immensely desirable for the color, and hard to own, in crystals of this size. Now, more have been found in recent re-working at the mine, but they are either smaller in general if of this form, or larger but of a blockier habit. Ex. Wes Parker Collection.
Locality Lost Hope Mine, Mwami, Karoi District, Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe
Dimensions 3.7 x 2.6 x 2.4 cm.
