Emerald-green, gemmy Dioptase crystals to 7 mm richly and aesthetically line a vertical vug set in Calcite matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from an uncommon Dioptase locality - the Dumesnil Quarry, Cordoba, Argentina. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. Dave worked and lived in Buenos Aires and purchased this there during that time. |
