Sunstone - Oligoclase Feldspar with tiny, lustrous inclusions of Hematite or Goethite. These inclusions cause the stone to "glitter", and give it use as a gem. The usual color for Sunstone is orange to red, but green, blue, or yellow stones may also be called Sunstone. Sunstone is also known as Aventurine Feldspar. Many unknowledgeable dealers and collectors incorrectly term Sunstone as colorless, transparent Feldspar.
