You will notice several different forms of text in this sort method. The following text explains each type.
Varieties are written with their group name in parenthesis and in smaller font. For example, Amethyst, a purple variety of Quartz, appears as "Amethyst_(Quartz)"
Black lettering denotes a gemstone currently indexed in this guide; gray lettering indicates a gemstone is not yet available; and navy lettering signifies a gemstone that has already been visited in this site (used hyperlink).
