Staurolite twin
Form of penetration twinning where two monoclinic crystals form interpenetrating twins at 90º, forming a cross. Named after the mineral Staurolite, which most frequently exhibits this form of twinning. (Staurolite crystals may also twin at angles other than 90º, such as 60º.)
