Description |
Extremely well-formed, fat Chalcocite crystals to almost 2 cm. This piece has textbook crystallography and looks so good it might as well have been carved. This exquisite miniature is complete all around and nearly pristine, probably because it has been in a box for over 150 years, as part of the collection of Traverso, a major Italian collector of the early 1800s. miniature.
