Description A classic and fine plate of lustrous, brassy, nicely formed cockscomb crystals of Marcasite with minor Dolomite crystals on the base. Old-time and excellent material from the Kansas portion of the Tri-State District. Ex. Mullane Collection. Fine, robust examples of this classic are hard to come by today, and many have decayed from being stored in high-humidity environs. This one, though, is remarkably intact.
