Description A fossilized ammonite shell that has been replaced by metallic Pyrite with an iridescent luster on the outer surfaces. The fossil was sliced through the middle to expose the internal chambers, now lined with metallic pyrite crystals. Ex. Bob Holzer (1934-2009) collection.
