Description |
This is a fine Analcime from the historic type locality near Mt. Etna, Sicily. It is uncommon on the market and this particular specimen features two distinctly different Analcime crystals in the drusy quartz-lined vug in basalt. The sharp, lustrous, yellow crystal is 1.2 cm. The vug also hosts a white, botryoidal zeolite, which is probably Chabazite. |
